Viridian Mac OS

  1. The Xen Project is focused on advancing virtualization in a number of different commercial and open source applications, including server virtualization, Infrastructure as a Services (IaaS), desktop virtualization, security applications, embedded and hardware appliances, and automotive/aviation.
  2. Viridian is the master planned community you've been looking for - close to it all in the DFW Metroplex, endless amenities for an active lifestyle, and new homes from the area's top builders.

Mac OS X Beta Linux Beta – To run this version you will need to install the following libraries: SDL 1.2, SDL Mixer 1.2, SDL Image 1.2, SLD Net 1.2 and Boost Filesystem. For all betas, you’re going to want to delete your old savegames and settings before you run the new version. Viridian depends on gstreamer to stream the music from the server. This means that it relies on gstreamer to have the proper codecs to understand how to play each file Ampache might have. If you are on a fresh install of Ubuntu, you will need to download gstreamer plugins for Viridian to work as expected.

Re: Can't change game options due to Resolution
There was a link somewhere that you could use that would fix it. However, my search-fu has gone up and is now below able. :( Hopefully someone else will come along and find it.

I have replicated Liz's one for Windows, but I'm not sure on the steps Mac users can take. Possibly need to use a tool like Pref Setter or PlistEdit Pro to find Java preferences for the game. Under a Windows environment, the path to client settings is Perhaps Mac OS X has a preference list in a similarly named location within the Java install folders. Then it's just a case of editing the resolution setting.

Got here late, I'm afraid, but if you are using a Mac, you can reset your display preferences by deleting ~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.yohoho.plist

Thanks a lot, worked perfectly.

What do you edit in the text editor if there is no numbers displayed for the height and width. It appears as if there is a line of text saying 'full_screen' but I do not know how to remove this command successfully.

Are you on OS X or Linux?
For Linux, the entries are in XML. Here is what the display lines look like.
'full_screen' isn't in my XML file because it doesn't affect Linux installations. Perhaps you are on OS X. I don't know the preferences format there.

Re: Can't change game options due to Resolution ~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.yohoho.plist
~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.puzzle.plist
~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.presents.plist
~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.media.plist
~/Library/Preferences/rsrc.config.cast.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.java.util.prefs.plist
I tried deleting the game and uninstalling the JDK and restarting. Nothing works...
Anyone know where the preferences are actually kept?
Edit: I tried pretty much everything with no luck. The only thing that worked is to install a third party app (SwitchResX) that allow me to temporarily increase my resolution so that I can change the settings again.
